Gunung Subang gold mine in Cariu undertaken by PT Cariu Galimas Sejahtera,
is an underground tunnel gold mining project. The Gunung Subang mountain range is within the
neighbourhood of many surrounding villages and small communities and therefore, underground tunnel mining is adopted.
It is an Environmental-friendly project which will be beneficial to environment and health to the human life living in the communities,
the habitat and wildlife. The project are to be polution free and try to reduce as much as possible the destruction of the
nature of its clean air, clean water, soils and forest.
The mining concession is conditional to operating under- ground
by the policy of the State's Mining Department. Tools equipments and tunnelling
machineries must be speciallized for digging hard rock stone, and mineral ore are
transported by trailer truck to the mill.
